Basic course structure

The curriculum of the program “International Diplomacy and Political Regional Studies” has both core disciplines and electives. This enables each student to build an individual academic trajectory in line with to their professional interests and personal predispositions.

The coursework is divided between lectures, seminars, workshops, and other formats based on field research, visiting experts’ participation, and group reports. Students are required to defend a Master’s Thesis to be eligible for the degree.

The degree of Master of Arts in International Relations is conferred upon students who have satisfactorily completed the chosen coursework, passed the state qualifying exam, and publicly defended a Master’s Thesis.

Final Grading

  • FINAL EXAM — held during the examination session
  • CREDIT (Mid-term) — held during the last week of study

Attendance is obligatory. Absence from 30 academic hours leads to expulsion.
